Metal Stamping Parts, Weather Vane Custom Parts, Galvanized Parts
Surface treatment of stamping parts involves forming a coating layer on the workpiece surface using specific methods. This imparts rust prevention, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, improved aesthetics, and enhanced product performance to small metal stamping parts.
1. Electroplating: The plating metal or other insoluble material acts as the anode, and the workpiece to be plated acts as the cathode. The cations of the plating metal are reduced on the surface of the workpiece to form the coating. The purpose of electroplating is to deposit a metal coating onto the substrate, altering the surface properties or dimensions of the substrate. It can enhance the corrosion resistance of the metal (the plating metal is often a corrosion-resistant metal), increase the hardness of the stamping parts, prevent wear, and improve conductivity, lubricity, heat resistance, and surface aesthetics.
2. Zinc-Tin Plating: Zinc-tin plating refers to a surface treatment technique that involves plating a layer of zinc onto the surface of metals, alloys, or other materials for aesthetic and rust prevention purposes. Hot-dip galvanizing is currently the primary method used.
3. Spray Coating: Using pressure or electrostatic force, paint or powder is adhered to the surface of the workpiece, providing corrosion resistance and decorative appearance.
