What is the basic process of CNC machining

CNC machining refers to a process method for machining parts on CNC machine tools. The process procedures of CNC machine tool machining and traditional machine tool machining are generally consistent, but there have also been significant changes. A mechanical machining method that uses digital information to control the displacement of parts and tools. It is an effective way to solve problems such as a variety of parts, small batches, complex shapes, and high precision requirements, and to achieve high-efficiency and automated processing.

CNC machining refers to the process of machining parts on CNC machine tools. CNC machine tools are machine tools controlled by computers. Computers used to control machine tools, whether they are special-purpose computers or general-purpose computers, are collectively referred to as CNC systems. The movement and auxiliary actions of CNC machine tools are all controlled by the instructions issued by the CNC system. The instructions of the CNC system are compiled by programmers based on the material of the workpiece, processing requirements, characteristics of the machine tool, and the instruction format (CNC language or symbols) specified by the system. The CNC system sends running or termination information to the servo device and other functional components according to the program instructions to control the various movements of the machine tool. When the processing program of the part ends, the machine tool will stop automatically. Any CNC machine tool cannot work if there is no input program instruction in its CNC system.

The controlled actions of the machine tool generally include the start and stop of the machine tool; the start and stop of the spindle, the change of the rotation direction and speed; the direction, speed and mode of the feed movement; the selection of the tool, the compensation of the length and radius; the replacement of the tool, the opening and closing of the coolant, etc.
