Anodizing of aluminum is an electrolytic oxidation process in which the surface of aluminum and aluminum alloys is usually transformed into an oxide film that has protective, decorative and other functional properties. Based on this definition, the anodization of aluminum only includes the process of generating an anodized film.
1. General process flow:
Aluminum workpiece → upper hanging device → degreasing → water washing → alkali etching → water washing → light extraction → water washing → anodizing → water washing → deionized water washing → dyeing or electrolytic coloring → water washing → deionized water washing → sealing → water washing → lower hanging device.
2. Process flow of high-brightness aluminum products:
Aluminum workpiece → mechanical polishing → degreasing → water washing → neutralization → water washing → chemical or electrochemical polishing → water washing → anodizing → water washing → deionized water washing → dyeing or electrolytic coloring → water washing → deionized water washing → sealing → water washing → mechanical brightening.
