Factors affecting the surface rust of stamped parts
Environmental factors:
The parts stamped on rainy days did not rust, but on sunny days they rusted. Environmental factors can be ruled out.
Uneven oil film on the original plate:
The uneven oil film on the original plate is generally strip-shaped or elliptical along the length of the steel coil, which is inconsistent with the rust law of the part.
Steel plate material:
Rust still occurs after stamping with other steel coils, and the morphology and position do not change.
Adding oil before stamping: Adding oil to the steel plate before stamping still causes rust at this location, but the degree is greatly reduced.
Adding oil after stamping:
Immediately after stamping, the parts are re-oiled, and no rust occurs at this location.
Part surface morphology:
There is slight roughness at the rusted location.
The oil film at this location is destroyed during the stamping process, resulting in rust.
