Causes of burrs on stamped parts
1. Stamping process problems
Irrational stamping process is an important cause of burrs. Specifically, too fast stamping speed, insufficient stamping depth, and too large gap between stamping dies may cause burrs. These problems may cause the metal material to fail to completely fill the die during the stamping process, thereby forming burrs on the surface of the stamped parts.
2. Unreasonable mold design
Irrational mold design is also an important cause of burrs. Factors such as the blade design of the mold, the demoulding angle, and the manufacturing accuracy of the mold will affect the quality of the stamped parts. If the mold blade is not sharp or the demoulding angle is not designed reasonably, it may cause burrs on the stamped parts during the demoulding process.
3. Material problems
The properties of the metal material itself will also affect the quality of the stamped parts. For example, too high or too low hardness of the material may cause burrs during the stamping process. In addition, if there are impurities or unevenness inside the material, burrs may also occur.
